Visiting this website
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) processes technical request data, including IP addresses, requested pages, access times, browser and device information, and referring pages where transmitted. This is used to deliver the website, maintain availability and protect it against abuse. Our legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a secure, reliable website. Technical data is retained only as needed for delivery, security, incident investigation or legal requirements; the period depends on the service and security settings.
Contact forms and email enquiries
We process your name, email address, enquiry topic and message, together with any company name, catalogue or website link and order reference you choose to provide. We use these details to answer your enquiry and discuss products, orders or supplier partnerships. Contract-related enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable; other enquiries under Article 6(1)(f), based on our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence. Providing details is voluntary, but we need the required fields to respond through the form. Please do not submit sensitive personal data, passwords or payment-card details.
Formspree
Our contact form uses Formspree, Inc., USA. When you submit it, your form entries and technical submission data, such as your IP address, browser information and referring website, are transmitted to Formspree to process the submission, help prevent spam and notify us by email. Data may be processed in the United States. Formspree states that it relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses for processing-related transfers. You may contact info@crownbe.de directly instead of using the form. Formspree submission storage depends on the account plan and settings; deleting a stored submission does not delete the copy received in our mailbox.
Email delivery and recipients
Our mailbox is provided through Namecheap Private Email, operated by Namecheap, Inc., USA. Namecheap processes message content, sender and recipient addresses and delivery information to operate the email service. Enquiry details are accessible to people handling Crownbe enquiries and to the service providers involved in hosting, form submission and email delivery, as necessary for these purposes. Information may also be disclosed where legally required. Contact details supplied for an enquiry are not used to sign you up for marketing emails.
International processing
Cloudflare, Formspree and Namecheap are US-based providers, and processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Protection and public-authority access rules may differ. Cloudflare and Namecheap publish data-processing terms with Standard Contractual Clauses; Formspree describes its use of these clauses on its security page. Copies or further information about applicable transfer safeguards can be requested from info@crownbe.de.
How long we keep enquiries
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer the enquiry, manage an ongoing business relationship or address related claims. Once those purposes no longer apply, we delete it unless a legal retention duty requires continued storage. Where a message forms part of business or tax records, the applicable statutory retention period applies. Copies in provider systems and backups follow the relevant service retention and deletion arrangements.
Cookies, analytics and external content
The current Crownbe website code does not set cookies, use browser storage for language preferences, or include analytics, advertising pixels, externally loaded fonts or embedded social-media content. Images and fonts are served locally or supplied by your device. The EN / DE switch opens the selected language page. Hosting security services may process technical information to prevent abuse. If we add tracking or other optional features, we will update this notice and obtain consent where required.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. Contact info@crownbe.de to exercise your rights. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit. We do not use enquiry data for automated decisions or profiling.
